Is this a fishing or someone used my business email for registration?

Hi guys. What do you think, is it a fishing/scam or someone really used my business email for registration on a dating site?
Today I received a letter to my company/work email with a confirmation of registration to a dating website. First message stated that it was registered to a fake name Peter. Then 20 minutes later I receive 2 more letters, one saying “I” topped up some credits, next a receipt letter with real name of our former employee who used my work mail in the past.
Should I try to login through TOR, check the info and see if it’s an actual account? Is it safe, what would you recommend?

(US) A new to me version of a email fishing scam, they're getting good.

Email came from one of my sub contractors. Generic stuff. "Hey I have a few files I need you to review click this risky link" Came from their email address.
I know this contractor well, late 60's and not a big tech person. I called and they confirmed not sending email.
I forwarded them the fishing email as a reference. IMMEDIATELY got a reply (probably an auto reply of some kind). "Yeah this is me sending this, totally safe, please review them here: risky link again".
Wow, pretty sophisticated! I might have fallen for that reply email. Tone an everything was right. Wow.
What should my contractor do other than change passwords and email her contacts explaining?
Top Comment: This is what a typical modern phishing attack looks like. The contractor needs to change password, set up MFA if they haven’t, and look for mail forwarding rules. And if it was an auto reply, then of course remove it.
Fishing Scam or Legitimate email?

Hi,
I've received an email tonight from ******@accountprotection.microsoft.com regarding closure of my account due to inactivity in 2023.
I use this email daily on my phone and at least log in monthly on a PC so i'm baffled at how it could be considered inactive.
I've seen posts saying this email address is legit, but posts saying that the email is fake and a phishing scam. I've received emails from this address before with codes which tells me it's real, but the email subject seems like a phishing scam as I clearly am logged in enough to even receive this email.
Would anybody be able to elaborate?

Help! Someone is using my email

I started recieved emails from POF three days ago from POF users. I believe someone may have used my email as a secondary by mistake. Judging by the username, we have a name in common. Unable to reach POF myself I tried to create an account to contact this user and ask him to politely remove my email from his account. However I soon discovered that you cannot search by username.
Ugh... So I need your help Reddit! How can I get in contact with plenty of fish so that i can have my email removed from this mailing service???

I hate when ppl do that, happened to me a couple times.
If they don't have a way to contact them and you can't contact the person using your email address. Since you have the email address Then you should just go to the site and reset their password and the delete their account. But that's me lol. Not your problem they used your email to sign up and it's not your problem that POF doesn't have any sort of email verification when you sign up.
If you can't contact either of them and you don't want to do anything else just block the POF email in your email service. There should be a way to do it.
